QUIET WEEK-END PLANNED

MG is going to the Clemson game and taking one of the dogs. I am staying home with the other "child" (Dolly) and plan on doing NOTHING but cleaning house (first part of tomorrow morning) and reading WICKED and sippling Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka (only after the proper 5:00 cocktail time). I am soooo excited about this book - as you know my obsession with witches. Now, I have to confess the Wizard of Oz sort of frightened me as a child - the whole flying monkey thing - but as an adult, I would love to be able to call my flying monkeys on somebody. (I already have a list of people to target!)

If anyone has read this book, let me know if you loved it, liked it, or hated it.

I am going to sippy poo on the Firefly myself, mixed with a little Crystal light lemonade! I work for a Mortgage company downtown. We have probably run into each other and never knew it. I live in Forest Acres. Where do you all live

Just bought a house in Sherlter Cove on Lake Murray....on Hwy 6.

The Firefly with Crystal Light - I have considered that BUT dod you mix the CL with water or just put the crystals in with the vodka? If you mix it with water - just putting the crystals in the vodka makes you stop and wonder "how wicked would that be?"

Great point and I am glad you JUST ASKED Beth, because the night I got terribly tipsy, I just sprinkled the Crystals in there, this time like NOW I made a pitcher of the cLL!! Happy sipping..

Those flying monkeys! Our kids still are reluctant to watch the WOZ because of the monkeys (ages 11 and 8). Yep - agreed - would love to have a few of those monkeys around here right now - would send them to a certain bigotted house and have them tear the stuffing out of a big homophobe who's causing a bit of commotion around here! Great blog - thanks for rolling me!
